Tickled pink in my luxury villas in tuscany is the only way I can express how I felt when I can across the historic villa called Villa Di Colla in Vicchio, a small town in the Mugello region. The Medicis family were originally from this region and had kept a lot of elegant holiday villas, castles and palaces in this typically traditional area. And many people who live in Florence escape to Mugello to sink into the silence that the hillsides offer, opening up their villas to those who wish to stay and do tuscany tours. The Sieve River furrows through one of the most select wine valleys and my luxury villas was in a privileged position from where I could overlook the Tuscany countryside.
Sink into Silence having Luxury Villas in Tuscany
Whatever time of the year, Villa di Collina in Vecchio provides lodging for a total of 14 people. This 18th century medieval building has five bathrooms, six bedrooms, an enclosed garden with a terrace that opens out to the panoramic sights of the rolling fields around it. It has all the necessary household objects and linens for a very comfortable stay. Thanks to its wooded area, trekking is a well cared for activity and I did a guided tuscany tours for a day, heading towards the Appennini mountains.
Count on Creative Italian Holidays
Being as this precious luxury villa is just 35 kilometres north of Florence, I had planned on doing a car rental at the airport and this way I could also take a leisurely drive to Pisa and visit the famous phenomenon of its leaning tower.I wanted my Italian holidays to be the best ever, I explored the villages surrounding me and found the lake called Lago di Bilancino where I practised sailing, Scarperia where I learned about its famous hand-made knives, recent golf course and immensely savoured Toscana food at La casa di Caccia nearby Vicchio. The match between my needs and desires and my luxury villas in Tuscany could not have more exact.
